Fireproofing

jo1166

Under the leadership of Chris "Tractar" Campbell, CC Services Groundworks from Harris successfully completed the crucial fireproofing of the agricultural barn last month. This significant task was necessary before the construction of the new building adjacent to it. Colin and Jamie braved the heavy December rain to finish the job.

They removed the cladding from the barn's exterior, installed fireproof sheeting, and reclad the structure, all while smiling in their oilskins!

They could have worked from the inside but chose to endure the harsh conditions to avoid disrupting our indoor facilities. We are immensely grateful to them.

The barn houses our arts and craft room, egg processing station, and wood workshop, making it central to our daily activities at Macaulay College.

Another major task completed, bringing us a step closer to our goal.
