It's been an extremely busy week on-site. The new modules are scheduled to begin their journey from Barra a week from today.
In preparation, the old office and quiet room cabin were removed to be repurposed further up the farm as additional project space.
A new set of stairs was added to the once blue, now pink cabin to allow students access to the remaining facilities while work continues. Tractar and Jamie spent their weekend adding rainbow sparkles to our new boot room.
What a team!
This week will see the removal of the last remaining toilet portacabin. It was the first indoor space Macaulay College had on the farm. It served as the Engies shop, then our boot room and toilets. It has served us well. We have mixed emotions this week as we embark on an exciting new chapter at Macaulay College, 15 years after it all began.
A huge thanks to the CC Services Groundworks Team and Peels for ensuring the smooth progress of the works so far.
